Taylor Hicks put on a show in Ferndale, MI at a club called the Magic Bag, Monday night. There was a video ban on the concert but this intrepid attendee managed to snare a few tunes. Sadly, no evidence of “Indiscriminate Act of Kindness”.
Sounds as though Taylor put on a great show. Lucky attendees. See you in Birmingham in September, people.

Spin,I have been busy working hard so all I’ve had time for until this afternoon is checking out the Mon. night videos. Now IAOK is up and it is not at all one of my fav songs, it seems to be hot or cold with his fans. I’m still not a fan of his Latin songs although he did OUALOM great at the Magic Bag. Have you listened to the Detroit radio stations 41 minutes of (should their intern, Sarah, go out with Taylor?) Sexism is thriving in 2009 and in the motor city. This 20 yr old girl allowed herself to be used by the DJ’s. Did Taylor end up calling her? I doubt it given he had to have heard about the blog and 41 minutes devoted to his so called invite. Bottom line for me is poor Taylor in the public eye and does he ask out women when he tours. L can be for lonely in life even when one is famous, talented, wealthy and just out there–visable and known by name. With fame one needs game.

Hey Rose, yeah I imagine it’s not an easy thing meeting real people in his position. So many just wanting to use him for whatever reason.
His Spanish song is my least favorite, don’t like it perhaps because I live in Texas and we have Spanish musicians here who are authentic and well, he sounds like a more New York City version of salsa than say, Picante if you know what I mean. LOL
I happen to adore IAoK and LOVE what he does with the song. I twittered back and forth at him last night, playing on what he put out/ reacting to it then said I wanted a vid of that and well, there it was this a.m. up c/o edjorg. Nice.
The qualities of the vids from this show are excellent. Are you going to B’Ham?
